There is a update coming to Final Fantasy 15 this week that adds new content based on player input. The update will drop today, May 24, adding a new menu item for Ignis called “Stinky Tofu with a Mellow Flavor.” If that doesn’t sound too appetizing, then it might be because it was result of a survey in Taiwan where fans requested the dish.
Even a modicum of research reveals that stinky tofu isn’t just some a clever name. It actually stinks and occasionally smellsof garbage or feet, but also blue cheese or rotted meat. So dig in, Final Fantasy 15 fans.
If that description wasn’t enough to get those taste buds salivating, Gematsu has posted an image of the unusual meal for those curious. The site also provided a translation of the game’s full patch notes, which are listed below.
In other Final Fantasy 15 news, players have been experimenting with a glitch dubbed God Mode, which allows Noctis to fly all over the game’s world without boundaries. This has given many fans a peek into some restricted areas of the game, much to their delight.
As fans continue to wait for the remaining DLC episodes to release, there are already talks of future content starring prime antagonist Ardyn Izunia. While DLC wasn’t explicitly stated, Final Fantasy 15 director Hajime Tabata said the team has plans to do something like that to expand on the character’s story.
This is great news for those who believe the game felt unfinished. Final Fantasy 15 went through ludicrously long development, and in the end appears to leave out a tremendous amount of content that would have helped players understand the often convoluted story. Square Enix has since been focusing on adding content that fills in those story gaps, which has helped provide a more complete experience.
Final Fantasy 15 is available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
