Chance The Rapper Wants a Fortnite Nintendo Switch Port

Epic Games multiplayer title Fortnite has already found huge success on PC, PS4, and Xbox One but fans are eager for the game to come to Nintendo Switch as well. Many would love to enjoy the game’s crafting, zombie-killing and battle royale gameplay on the go, using their Nintendo Switch to play Fortnite anywhere that there is an Internet connection.

One high profile Fortnite fan who would also like to see the game released on Nintendo Switch is Chance The Rapper. The Grammy-award winning singer, rapper, and producer took to Twitter earlier this week to let Nintendo of America know that he desperately wants to play the game on the Nintendo Switch. The one-sentence post has since garnered over 6,000 retweets and over 30,000 people have liked the post too.

The replies to Chance The Rapper’s tweet are also inundated with messages from eager fans who agree with him and even a few games industry figures joined the calls for a Fortnite Nintendo Switch port.

Nick Chester, a PR manager at Epic Games suggested that he and Chance squad up and talk it over during a match of Fortnite Battle Royale, before Chance Ivey, an AR, and VR partnership manager at Epic Games joined in and put his name down for the squad as well. YouTuber Totalbiscuit and presenter (and Game Awards nominee) Andrea Rene also encouraged Chance The Rapper to get in touch with Epic Games higher-ups.
