Call of Duty: WW2 - How to Unlock the Hidden Killstreak

Call of Duty: WW2 - How to Unlock the Hidden Killstreak

Years ago, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 introduced a controversial killstreak called the Nuke that would automatically end the game if players killed enough enemies without dying. As it turns out, Call of Duty: WW2 has a similar killstreak, or “scorestreak” as it is known nowadays, but obtaining it is even more difficult than getting the nuke in Modern Warfare 2.

The killstreak in question, which summons a game-ending Tactical V2 Rocket, was discovered by streamer Pwnstarz. To earn this rather impressive killstreak, players first have to prestige in all five of Call of Duty: WW2‘s multiplayer divisions. When that’s done, the next step is getting a 25 player killstreak, which is an extremely difficult feat. Considering this, players shouldn’t expect to see too many Tactical V2 Rockets when playing Call of Duty: WW2 online.

To see the Tactical V2 Rocket in action, check out the footage below, captured from Pwnstarz’s Twitch stream:

For longtime fans of the franchise, this hidden killstreak should be rather amusing. After all, it serves as a callback to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, one of the highest-rated games in the series, and it also shows that Call of Duty: WW2 is full of secrets and hidden content. Along with this hidden killstreak, there’s also a secret mystery box that can be found on the Groesten Haus Nazi Zombies map, for example.

Assuming any lingering server issues don’t cause any problems, players should be able to start searching for these secrets themselves. Of course, it will take an incredible amount of skill to obtain the game-ending Tactical V2 Rocket in Call of Duty: WW2, not to mention someone that has put in the hours necessary to prestige the game’s five multiplayer divisions.

While dedicated Call of Duty: WW2 players try to get the kills necessary to summon the game’s equivalent of Modern Warfare 2‘s nuke, perhaps they still stumble on even more hidden secrets. Moving forward, it will be interesting to see what else Call of Duty: WW2 has hidden away across its three different game modes.

Call of Duty: WW2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
